LeadWorld ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
This policy applies to the LeadWorld platform and any associated services. By using LeadWorld, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following types of data:
Account data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
Lead data
When your contacts submit one of your LeadWorld forms, we collect the responses they provide (which may include name, email, phone number, and any other fields you configure). This data is stored on your behalf so you can view and act on it.
Usage data
We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to maintain security and improve the Service.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Process your subscription and send billing-related communications
- Send transactional emails (lead notifications, welcome emails, follow-up reminders)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data or your leads' data to third parties. We do not use lead data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases for each processing activity:

4. AI Processing
When a lead submits your form, the response data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a lead score, summary, and draft reply. This processing is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Service. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
By using LeadWorld and collecting leads, you take responsibility for informing your leads that their data may be processed by AI systems for qualification purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate LeadWorld:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI lead analysis
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary with each provider to operate the Service.
International data transfers
Some of our third-party providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or the provider's participation in an equivalent recognised framework, as the legal basis for that transfer. Details of the safeguards used by each provider are available in their respective privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and lead data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons (e.g. billing records).

7. Cookies
LeadWorld uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the Service.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
